Auction result well in line with expectations
The work No. 16 Series B by Susan Norrie was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in November 2003. The price achieved of AUD 1,410.00 (€ 850.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Susan Norrie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pageant I, 1987 in November 2018 with an auction result of AUD 40,260.00 (€ 35,555.95).

Die Arbeit No. 16 Series B von Susan Norrie kam im November 2003 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 1.410,00 (€ 850,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Susan Norrie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pageant I, 1987 im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 40.260,00 (€ 35.555,95).
