Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Australian Be Seeing You (Departure) by Susan Norrie was auctioned at Sothebys in Sydney in November 2007. The price achieved of AUD 28,800.00 (€ 17,349.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Susan Norrie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pageant I, 1987, which sold at auction in November 2018 for AUD 40,260.00 (€ 35,555.95).
