The work Woman Behind a Masrhibiyya by Susan Hefuna was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in February 2007. The »bidding war« ended at USD 31,200.00 (€ 23,582.77), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Susan Hefuna; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Not For Sale - Enta Omri sold at auction in April 2013 with the realized price of USD 40,000.00 (€ 30,376.67).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 31.200,00 (€ 23.582,77) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Susan Hefuna; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Not For Sale - Enta Omri im April 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 30.376,67).
