Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Art For Grenfell, which included the work Star Field Bridge by Susan Derges. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,986.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Susan Derges - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Selected Images From 'Full Circle', which sold at auction in October 2018 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,958.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Art For Grenfell durch, in der auch die Arbeit Star Field Bridge von Susan Derges zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.986,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Susan Derges mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Selected Images From 'Full Circle' beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 20.958,35) versteigert wurde.
