A top price for Susan Catherine Waters - as previously expected
In September 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Still Life: Hanging Game by Susan Catherine Waters. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,889.23) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Still Life: Hanging Game is the most expensive artwork by Susan Catherine Waters that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im September 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life: Hanging Game von Susan Catherine Waters zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.889,23) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Still Life: Hanging Game das teuerste Kunstwerk von Susan Catherine Waters, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
