This artwork by Sunayani Devi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2018. In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction, the work Untitled (Krishna) sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,888.99) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sunayani Devi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (Dui Sakhee) sold at auction in March 2021 with the realized price of USD 15,120.00 (€ 12,875.76).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sunayani Devi erzielte im Juni 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Krishna) für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.888,99) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sunayani Devi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untitled (Dui Sakhee) im März 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 12.875,76).
