Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale auction, the work Untitled changed hands for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,694.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cmyk 8 in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,096,000.00 (€ 104,004.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo konnte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Untitled für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.694,07) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cmyk 8 im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.096.000,00 (€ 104.004,71).
