Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Volcanic Ash Series #5 by Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,148.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cmyk 8, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 1,096,000.00 (€ 104,004.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Volcanic Ash Series #5 von Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.148,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cmyk 8 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 1.096.000,00 (€ 104.004,71) versteigert wurde.
