Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Green Mosque by Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,852.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cmyk 8 in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,096,000.00 (€ 104,004.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Green Mosque von Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.852,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cmyk 8 im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.096.000,00 (€ 104.004,71).
