Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy Including Property from the Chokaido Museum Collection, which included the work Five-Character Poem In Running Script by Sun Yueban. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,167.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Other works by Sun Yueban have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2013 the work Calligraphy Scrolls was auctioned for HKD 322,000.00 (€ 31,520.20).

Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy Including Property from the Chokaido Museum Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Five-Character Poem In Running Script von Sun Yueban zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.167,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Sun Yueban konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2013 die Arbeit Calligraphy Scrolls für HKD 322.000,00 (€ 31.520,20) versteigert.
