Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven-character Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script by Sun Yueban was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,799.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sun Yueban have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Scrolls in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 322,000.00 (€ 31,520.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seven-character Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script von Sun Yueban kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.799,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sun Yueban auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Scrolls im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 322.000,00 (€ 31.520,20).
