Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pomegranate & Chrysanthemums by Sun Xueni was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,389.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Sun Xueni have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2015 the work Peoples Commune was auctioned for HKD 89,700.00 (€ 10,366.69).

Die Arbeit Pomegranate & Chrysanthemums von Sun Xueni wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.389,60) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Sun Xueni konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2015 die Arbeit Peoples Commune für HKD 89.700,00 (€ 10.366,69) versteigert.
