In October 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Fisherman by Sun Jiaqin. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 188,800.00 (€ 21,259.16), 57% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sun Jiaqin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work God In Song Style, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 590,000.00 (€ 68,927.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 57 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fisherman von Sun Jiaqin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 188.800,00 (€ 21.259,16) und damit 57% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Sun Jiaqin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit God In Song Style beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 590.000,00 (€ 68.927,73) versteigert wurde.
