A top price for Sukriye Dikmen
This artwork by Sukriye Dikmen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2014. In the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction, the work Turkish Untitled sold for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,144.36) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. This high result makes Turkish Untitled the most expensive artwork by Sukriye Dikmen that we have observed at auctions so far.
