Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Turkish, which included this untitled work by Suat Akdemir. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,717.78). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suat Akdemir - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2012 for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,330.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Turkish durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Suat Akdemir zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.717,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Suat Akdemir mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2012 für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.330,90) versteigert wurde.
