Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Phillips in 7 - held the auction Satellite: Online Auction, which included the work Give Me a Little Bit by Suanjaya Kencut. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 50,800.00 (€ 6,129.21) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suanjaya Kencut - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mata Tuhan (God's Eye), which sold at auction in October last year for HKD 151,200.00 (€ 19,375.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 7 - die Auktion Satellite: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Give Me a Little Bit von Suanjaya Kencut zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 50.800,00 (€ 6.129,21) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Suanjaya Kencut mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mata Tuhan (God's Eye) beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für HKD 151.200,00 (€ 19.375,64) versteigert wurde.
