Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Three Birds of Giuseppe Castiglione by Su Meng-Hung was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,497.69) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Su Meng-Hung have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2019 the work Birds And Butterflies Of Red Land was auctioned for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,028.70).

Die Arbeit The Three Birds of Giuseppe Castiglione von Su Meng-Hung wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.497,69) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
