Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Propagating by Su Liupeng was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 12,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 14,400.00 (€ 14,705.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Su Liupeng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gathering Of Eighteen Scholars, which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 38,361.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Propagating von Su Liupeng kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 12.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 14.400,00 (€ 14.705,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Su Liupeng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gathering Of Eighteen Scholars beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 38.361,63) versteigert wurde.
