Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Man under a Pine, 1844 by Su Liupeng was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November 2020. The price achieved of HKD 25,500.00 (€ 2,753.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Su Liupeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gathering Of Eighteen Scholars in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 38,361.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Man under a Pine, 1844 von Su Liupeng kam im November 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.500,00 (€ 2.753,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Su Liupeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gathering Of Eighteen Scholars im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 38.361,63).
