Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Figures by Su Liupeng for HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,090.47). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Su Liupeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gathering Of Eighteen Scholars in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 38,361.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Figures von Su Liupeng für HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.090,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Su Liupeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gathering Of Eighteen Scholars im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 38.361,63).
