Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Grapes by Su Baozhen was auctioned at POLY in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 3,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 3,600.00 (€ 422.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Su Baozhen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grapes in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 21,240.00 (€ 2,454.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Grapes von Su Baozhen kam im November diesen Jahres bei POLY zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 3.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 3.600,00 (€ 422,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Su Baozhen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grapes im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.240,00 (€ 2.454,95).
