A top price for Steven Lindsay - as previously expected
In October this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work 2nd Arc of Petasos by Steven Lindsay. The price achieved of GBP 2,304.00 (€ 2,645.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, 2nd Arc of Petasos is the most expensive artwork by Steven Lindsay that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 2nd Arc of Petasos von Steven Lindsay zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.304,00 (€ 2.645,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist 2nd Arc of Petasos das teuerste Kunstwerk von Steven Lindsay, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
