Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Naomi Campbell, Bridgehampton, NY by Steven Klein was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 2,540.00 (€ 2,943.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Steven Klein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman in Kitchen in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 48,933.54).

Die Arbeit Naomi Campbell, Bridgehampton, NY von Steven Klein wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.540,00 (€ 2.943,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Steven Klein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman in Kitchen im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 48.933,54).
