A top price for Steve Walton - as previously expected
The work Secret Formula by Steve Walton was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2005. The price achieved of GBP 456.00 (€ 669.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Secret Formula is the most expensive artwork by Steve Walton that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Secret Formula von Steve Walton kam im November 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 456,00 (€ 669,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Secret Formula das teuerste Kunstwerk von Steve Walton, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
