The auction ended at the price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,574.58), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stephen J. Renard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yankee, Ranger and Endeavour II racing in the New York Yacht Club Criuse, 1937, which sold at auction in July 2004 for USD 77,675.00 (€ 64,557.01).
