Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Suspension Des Couleurs Primaires, 2005 by Stéphane Chavanis was sold in the Contemporary Art 2 auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2007. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,974.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stéphane Chavanis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Masque A Gaz, which sold at auction in December 2009 for EUR 7,650.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Suspension Des Couleurs Primaires, 2005 von Stéphane Chavanis wurde im Oktober 2007 in der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.974,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Stéphane Chavanis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Masque A Gaz beobachtet, die im Dezember 2009 für EUR 7.650,00 versteigert wurde.
