A top price for Stefano Donadoni - as previously expected
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Nineteenth Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work The Arch of Titus on the via Sacra, Rome by Stefano Donadoni. The price achieved of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,531.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Arch of Titus on the via Sacra, Rome is the most expensive artwork by Stefano Donadoni that we have observed at auctions so far.
