It achieved a price of SEK 44,000.00 (€ 4,904.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stefan Johansson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Bron i dimma" (The Bridge in Fog) in December 2015 with an auction result of SEK 1,750,000.00 (€ 190,648.31).

Die Arbeit Rocks in a forest von Stefan Johansson kam im Dezember 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 44.000,00 (€ 4.904,36) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stefan Johansson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Bron i dimma" (The Bridge in Fog) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.750.000,00 (€ 190.648,31).
