Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Läsande flicka" (Girl reading) by Stefan Johansson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 150,000.00 – 175,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 120,000.00 (€ 12,791.88). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stefan Johansson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Bron i dimma" (The Bridge in Fog) in December 2015 with an auction result of SEK 1,750,000.00 (€ 190,648.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Läsande flicka" (Girl reading) von Stefan Johansson im Juni 2016 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 150.000,00 – 175.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 120.000,00 (€ 12.791,88) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stefan Johansson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Bron i dimma" (The Bridge in Fog) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.750.000,00 (€ 190.648,31).
