Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Polish dcxxx by Stefan Gierowski was sold in the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 16,974.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stefan Gierowski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work CLXVII in October last year with an auction result of GBP 239,400.00 (€ 278,898.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Polish dcxxx von Stefan Gierowski wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 16.974,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stefan Gierowski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit CLXVII im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 239.400,00 (€ 278.898,35).
