Auction result well in line with expectations

In December 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Lady Chatterley's Lover by Stanley McMurtry. The price achieved of GBP 500.00 (€ 580.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Other works by Stanley McMurtry have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2012 the work "Oh, we talked about the recession and the econony - and what kind of day did you have Barbara, Honey?" was auctioned for GBP 750.00 (€ 924.96).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Dezember 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lady Chatterley's Lover von Stanley McMurtry zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 500,00 (€ 580,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Stanley McMurtry konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2012 die Arbeit "Oh, we talked about the recession and the econony - and what kind of day did you have Barbara, Honey?" für GBP 750,00 (€ 924,96) versteigert.
