Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Newlyn by Stanley Grimm was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 525.00 (€ 663.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Other works by Stanley Grimm have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2003 the work Still life with vase of flowers was auctioned for GBP 763.75 (€ 998.27).
