Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A windy day by Stanley Grimm was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2008. The price achieved of GBP 437.50 (€ 459.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stanley Grimm - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still life with vase of flowers, which sold at auction in July 2003 for GBP 763.75 (€ 998.27).

Für andere Arbeiten von Stanley Grimm mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still life with vase of flowers beobachtet, die im Juli 2003 für GBP 763,75 (€ 998,27) versteigert wurde.
