Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Devon Landscape by Stanislawa de Karlowska for GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,867.34). This price was achieved in the auction Twentieth Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stanislawa de Karlowska - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mydlow, which sold at auction in March 2004 for GBP 3,585.00 (€ 5,366.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Devon Landscape von Stanislawa de Karlowska für GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.867,34) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Twentieth Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Stanislawa de Karlowska mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mydlow beobachtet, die im März 2004 für GBP 3.585,00 (€ 5.366,42) versteigert wurde.
