The work Prayer of the moon by Stanislaus Bender was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in July 2008. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,541.02), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stanislaus Bender - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Studying the Talmud by lamplight, which sold at auction in January 2008 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,702.72).

Die Arbeit Prayer of the moon von Stanislaus Bender wurde im Juli 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.541,02) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Stanislaus Bender mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Studying the Talmud by lamplight beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.702,72) versteigert wurde.
