Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Bonhams in Paris held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Vue de Galaxidi by Spyros Vassiliou. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,650.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Spyros Vassiliou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek Patission Street, Athens in November 2009 with an auction result of GBP 199,250.00 (€ 218,053.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue de Galaxidi von Spyros Vassiliou zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.650,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Spyros Vassiliou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek Patission Street, Athens im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 199.250,00 (€ 218.053,44).
