This artwork by Spyros Vassiliou achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in November this year. In the The Greek Sale auction, the work Festival, Athènes sold for EUR 14,080.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Spyros Vassiliou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek Patission Street, Athens in November 2009 with an auction result of GBP 199,250.00 (€ 218,053.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Spyros Vassiliou erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Greek Sale wurde die Arbeit Festival, Athènes für EUR 14.080,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Spyros Vassiliou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek Patission Street, Athens im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 199.250,00 (€ 218.053,44).
