The work Athènes by Spyros Vassiliou was auctioned at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in May this year. It achieved a price of EUR 28,050.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56 %. Admittedly, works by Spyros Vassiliou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Patission Street, Athens in November 2009 with an auction result of GBP 199,250.00 (€ 218,053.44).

Die Arbeit Athènes von Spyros Vassiliou kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 28.050,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Spyros Vassiliou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Patission Street, Athens im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 199.250,00 (€ 218.053,44).
