A top price for Spyros Papanicolaou - as previously expected
In November 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek Along The Coast by Spyros Papanicolaou. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,335.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Greek Along The Coast is the most expensive artwork by Spyros Papanicolaou that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek Along The Coast von Spyros Papanicolaou zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.335,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
