Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Greek Girl by Sophie Anderson was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2009. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,367.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sophie Anderson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No Walk Today in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,038,050.00 (€ 1,255,080.46).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.367,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
