Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An inhabited garden by Sonia Lawson was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 525.00 (€ 663.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Sonia Lawson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Tree, Green Lake in October 2004 with an auction result of GBP 2,270.50 (€ 3,267.87).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sonia Lawson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Tree, Green Lake im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.270,50 (€ 3.267,87).
