Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Song Yongping could be acquired at Christies in London in February 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Flames of fury changed hands for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,477.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Yongping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Girls in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 49,401.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Song Yongping konnte im Februar 2012 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Flames of fury für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.477,60) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Yongping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Girls im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 49.401,66).
