Auction result well in line with expectations
The work You Are The World by Song Kun was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The price achieved of HKD 312,500.00 (€ 30,590.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Song Kun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Garden of Auspicious Animals in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,375,000.00 (€ 269,018.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit You Are The World von Song Kun wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 312.500,00 (€ 30.590,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Song Kun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Garden of Auspicious Animals im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.375.000,00 (€ 269.018,38).
