Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Octopus Woman by Song Kun was auctioned at Sothebys in Beijing in June 2015. It changed hands for a price of CNY 118,000.00 (€ 17,064.19) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CNY 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Kun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Garden of Auspicious Animals in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,375,000.00 (€ 269,018.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Octopus Woman von Song Kun kam im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in Beijing zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CNY 118.000,00 (€ 17.064,19) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CNY 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Kun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Garden of Auspicious Animals im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.375.000,00 (€ 269.018,38).
