In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Men Age While Natural Beauty Lasts by Song Kun. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 687,500.00 (€ 63,941.96), 72% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Song Kun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Garden of Auspicious Animals in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,375,000.00 (€ 269,018.38).

Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Men Age While Natural Beauty Lasts von Song Kun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 63.941,96) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Song Kun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Garden of Auspicious Animals im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.375.000,00 (€ 269.018,38).
