Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Peonies and Bagel by Sondra Freckelton for USD 375.00 (€ 286.94). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sondra Freckelton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trailing Begonia, which sold at auction in February 2012 for USD 1,125.00 (€ 842.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Peonies and Bagel von Sondra Freckelton für USD 375,00 (€ 286,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sondra Freckelton mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Trailing Begonia beobachtet, die im Februar 2012 für USD 1.125,00 (€ 842,13) versteigert wurde.
