Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition, 2018 by Soly Cissé was sold in the Moroccan & African Spirit auction at Artcurial in November this year. It changed hands for a price of MAD 78,720.00 (€ 7,209.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of MAD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Soly Cissé - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition - 2018, which sold at auction in December this year for MAD 183,680.00 (€ 16,803.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition, 2018 von Soly Cissé wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Moroccan & African Spirit bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von MAD 78.720,00 (€ 7.209,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von MAD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Soly Cissé mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition - 2018 beobachtet, die im Dezember diesen Jahres für MAD 183.680,00 (€ 16.803,85) versteigert wurde.
