Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "Balkongen" (The Balcony) by Siri Derkert. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 600,000.00 – 800,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 620,000.00 (€ 64,190.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Siri Derkert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Ryttare", which sold at auction in April 2016 for SEK 1,500,000.00 (€ 163,228.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Balkongen" (The Balcony) von Siri Derkert zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 620.000,00 (€ 64.190,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Siri Derkert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Ryttare" beobachtet, die im April 2016 für SEK 1.500.000,00 (€ 163.228,74) versteigert wurde.
