Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction British and European Art, which included the work 'The Passing Barge, Petit Andely On The Seine' by William Russell Flint. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,030.78) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Russell Flint achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Judgement of Paris in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 407,250.00 (€ 481,321.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'The Passing Barge, Petit Andely On The Seine' von William Russell Flint zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.030,78) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Russell Flint erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Judgement of Paris im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 407.250,00 (€ 481.321,84).
