In the Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale, London auction, the work A Farm in Burgundy sold for GBP 14,375.00 (€ 20,268.57) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by William Rothenstein; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Souvenir Of Scarborough sold at auction in December 2014 with the realized price of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,528.30).
